Health and Safety Services

The general public associates the Red Cross with helping people during earthquakes, floods, hurricanes and other natural disasters. This statement cannot be more true. The Red Cross does help those in need when a catastrophe occurs. And we are proud to say, we are the largest disaster relief organization available. However, what the public sometimes overlooks is that our services do not stop there. This humanitarian organization offers so much more.

Assistance from volunteers is vital during an emergency, but remember, self preparedness is just as important. We dedicate an entire department, our Health and Safety Department, to develop numerous trainings and preparedness courses. This department partners with key professionals and certified trainers organizing public CPR, first aid, babysitting and aquatics training, among others.

Trainings are not just for individuals. Large and small businesses use our services as well.

Unfortunately, emergencies are inevitable. However, the greatest way to help yourself and those around you, is to get proper training.
