Volunteers are the heart and soul of the American Red Cross.

You are needed at the Red Cross.

Volunteers constitute 96 percent of our total workforce serving as: members of the board, certified instructors teaching lifesaving skills, disaster action team responders, nurses, event organizers and so much more. We are so proud of our commitment and level of service our volunteers provide and are indebted to them for helping us carry out our mission. We depend on people of all ages, skill sets and backgrounds to carry out our mission.

Become a Red Cross volunteer and you may have a chance to work with one or more of the following teams:

Disaster Action Team | Health & Safety | Public Support & Development | Community Services | Youth Services | Blood Services
