We depend on people of all ages, skills sets and backgrounds to carry out our mission.

Knowing what to do in any emergency can save lives. Local residents face the possibility of a range of disasters, including earthquakes, home fires, wildfires, floods, heat emergencies, and terrorism. The Rio Hondo Chapter provides neighborhood groups, community agencies and businesses with disaster preparedness presentations, materials and workshops. Local chapter updates and an overview of programs and services can be included and presentations will be customized to your needs.
