Babysitting Training #HSCAR201
Babysitting is both a good way to earn money and learn responsibility. Our Babysitting course for ages 11-15 will teach you how to be the best baby-sitter ever! You’ll learn the ins and outs of babysitting, including: setting up a babysitting job, caring for infants (diapering, feeding, dressing); growth and development; discipline; and, problem solving (crying, illness, etc.)Each participant will receive a text book and babysitting kit.

California Child Care: CPR and First Aid (8 hour session)
This 8 hour course teaches individuals to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies, pediatric first aid and injury prevention. This class meets CA EMSA requirements of daycare providers.

California Child Care: Health & Safety (7 hour session)
This 7 hour course provides training for daycare providers about preventing infectious diseases, caring for ill children and checking for immunizations in the child care setting.

California Childcare #9250
This is a two day class. Day 1 covers Adult/Pediatric CPR and Pediatric First Aid. Day 2 covers how to prevent childhood injuries, preventing infectious diseases in infants and children, caring for ill children, child development, communicating with children and parents, and recognizing and reporting child abuse. Total course time 15 hours. Satisfies California State requirements.

CPR-Adult (with AED-Adult) #HSSFA107
This course is designed to train lay responders to overcome any reluctance to act in emergency situations and to recognize and care for life-threatening respiratory or cardiac emergencies in adults. AED-Adult is added to this class as a bonus and will teach lay responders to identiify the general steps for the use of an automatic external defibrillator (AED)

CPR-Adult, Child & Infant (AED-Adult) #HSSFA302
This course teaches the lay responders to overcome any reluctance in emergency situations and to recognize and care for life-threatening respiratory or cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants. This course is equivalent to the American Heart Association’s CPR Level B. This course satisfies the CPR requirements of AB1136 for teaching credentials. AED-Adult is added to this class as a bonus and will teach lay responders to identiify the general steps for the use of an automatic external defibrillator (AED)

CPR/AED for the Healthcare Provider (2 Year Certificate)
A New 2 year certificate for this course, created to allow greater flexibility in maintaining professional level CPR/AED skills. new certifications is now available for doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, medical and nursing students, EMT's, dental professional, respiratory therapist, physical therapists, atheletic trainers and other allied heath personnel. THIS COURSE IS EQUIVALENT TO THE AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION'S HEALTH CARE PROVIDER CERTIFICATE.

Dog First Aid #HSPFA101
This 3 hour course provides individuals the knowledge and skills to provide immediate, temporary care to an injured or sick dog until a professional veterinarian can provide medical care. Topics include breathing emergencies, including choking; cardiac arrest and CPR; life threatening bleeding; sudden illness, including poisoning, seizures, and heat emergencies; and various injuries, including how to approach and move an injured animal. Dog First Aid book with DVD is included.

First Aid #HSSFA101
This class teaches the lay responders the knowledge and skills necessary in an emergency to help sustain life and to minimize pain and the consequences of injury or sudden illness until professional medical help arrives.

First Aid with CPR-Adult, Child & Infant (AED-Adult) #HSSFA414
This course teaches the lay responders to overcome any reluctance to act in emergency situations and to recognize and care for life-threatening respiratory or cardiac emergencies in adults, children, and infants. Provide the lay responder with the knowledge and skills necessary in an emergency to minimize pain and the consequences of injury or sudden illness until professional medical help arrives. This course satisfies the CPR and First Aid requirements for foster care. AED-Adult is added to this class as a bonus and will teach lay responders to identiify the general steps for the use of an automatic external defibrillator (AED)

This course is designed to train instructor candidates to teach the American Red Cross First Aid, CPR and AED programs. The course includes skills in Adult CPR, First Aid, Infant and Child CPR, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and several 1 hour optional modular components; Slips Trips and Falls, Ergonomics, Back Injury Prevention, Workplace Violence, Your Heart Matters and Managing Stress.
