Babysitting Training #HSCAR201 Babysitting is both a good way to earn money and learn responsibility. Our Babysitting course for ages 11-15 will teach you how to be the best baby-sitter ever! You’ll learn the ins and outs of babysitting, including: setting up a babysitting job, caring for infants (diapering, feeding, dressing); growth and development; discipline; and, problem solving (crying, illness, etc.)Each participant will receive a text book and babysitting kit.
California Child Care: CPR and First Aid (8 hour session) This 8 hour course teaches individuals to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies, pediatric first aid and injury prevention. This class meets CA EMSA requirements of daycare providers.
California Child Care: Health & Safety (7 hour session) This 7 hour course provides training for daycare providers about preventing infectious diseases, caring for ill children and checking for immunizations in the child care setting.
California Childcare #9250 This is a two day class. Day 1 covers Adult/Pediatric CPR and Pediatric First Aid. Day 2 covers how to prevent childhood injuries, preventing infectious diseases in infants and children, caring for ill children, child development, communicating with children and parents, and recognizing and reporting child abuse. Total course time 15 hours. Satisfies California State requirements.
CPR-Adult (with AED-Adult) #HSSFA107 This course is designed to train lay responders to overcome any reluctance to act in emergency situations and to recognize and care for life-threatening respiratory or cardiac emergencies in adults. AED-Adult is added to this class as a bonus and will teach lay responders to identiify the general steps for the use of an automatic external defibrillator (AED)
CPR-Adult, Child & Infant (AED-Adult) #HSSFA302 This course teaches the lay responders to overcome any reluctance in emergency situations and to recognize and care for life-threatening respiratory or cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants. This course is equivalent to the American Heart Association’s CPR Level B. This course satisfies the CPR requirements of AB1136 for teaching credentials. AED-Adult is added to this class as a bonus and will teach lay responders to identiify the general steps for the use of an automatic external defibrillator (AED)

Topics include breathing emergencies, including choking; cardiac arrest and CPR; life threatening bleeding; sudden illness, including poisoning, seizures, and heat emergencies; and various injuries, including how to approach and move an injured animal. Dog First Aid book with DVD is included.

Lay Responder First Aid and CPR/AED Instructor #HSSFA801 This course is designed to train instructor candidates to teach the American Red Cross First Aid, CPR and AED programs.
